Abstract
Within the bounds of this work, the results of scientific research, the historical sources and archeological excavations characterizing everyday-domestic culture of Great Novgorod of the X-XII centuries are generalized. The influence of the church on the everyday life of the city-dwellers, family relationships of the people of Novgorod of that time, their daily routine and leisure hours are retraced in the material of the abundant sources.

Abstract
The author investigates the history of the Zaporozhie Cossacks' first emigration which lasted for as long as 25 years. The article reveals the reasons why a significant number of the Zaporozhie Cossacks withdrew from the Russian empire in 1709. It also tells about their adaptation at the new place of residence and discloses their motives for returning to Russia. The struggle for influence over the Cossacks is considered in the context of the military and political opposition between Russia and Turkey and some other European countries, which supported Osman Empire.

Abstract
Based on the dates of Soviet calendar the features of cultural changes in Cossack villages in the south of Russia over 1920-ies are analyzed. The actions of authorities to celebrate "red holidays" are spotlighted, the typical components and characteristics of festive events in the period of New Economic Policy are considered. The reaction of Cossacks to "red holidays" is revealed, depending on their age, religiosity and loyalty to the Soviet government.

Abstract
The article addresses the most important social issue - meeting the needs of workers in the home after the victory of the October Revolution and during the first years of Soviet power. The rod of state housing policy in this period was Leninist formula «rich flats» - Housing was selected from the rich and transferred to the settlement of «poor families». The author on the specific historical documents shows that the young Soviet state, with no material, financial and other resources for housing, to solve the housing problem by eliminating the entire system of capitalist economy, including the elimination of residential property and its full governmentalization.
