Abstract

Abstract
The round table which took place in Moscow Region State University was dedicated to the analysis of correlation between the artistic exploration and scientific (scientific and historical) understanding of reality. The relevance of this problem is proved not only by the time of its appearance, but also by constant referring to it in the scientific research of 19-21 centuries. The ultimate goal of analyzing this problem is the formation of science-based ideas about the role and place of the means and methods of artistic reflection of reality in the research work of a historian not only at the level of theoretical and methodological ideas, but specifically historical analysis. In this regard, one of the foundations of the roundtable discussion is to appeal to the texts of the works which have a specific historical nature, although it is not the only source of analysis on the whole.

Abstract
The analysis of the USSR’s attitude to the Suez and Syrian Crises described in Soviet historiography is analysed. The new vision is presented, as well as some disagreement among the soviet histriographers on the problem discussed. It is showed that, inspite some subjectivity, Soviet historiography higlited those events rather comprehensively and in detail. On the basis of the historiographical material and historical sources scrutinized the conclusion is drawn that on the whole the politics of the USSR was equitable to the interests of the Arabian countries.

Abstract
The article deals with the economic contacts between Egypt, Aegean and the Near East states in the XVI-XIV BC. The data can help to restore the picture of the international trade and political relations between Aegean, Egypt and the Near East in the Late Bronze Age. Basing on the written and archaeological sources we can conclude that Aegean was involved into international relations with Egypt and the Near East. A great role in this was played by the Levant - as the main intermediary.

Abstract
The article highlights the process of creating a totalitarian state system and mechanisms for political investigation, control over the society, and suppression of real and potential opponents of the regime in the first years after entering into power of National Socialists in Germany. The author analyzes the factual material characterizing the creation of the Gestapo and SD bodies as the main structures of political investigation. The assessment of the nature and methods of the secret state police is presented. The analysis showed and substantiated the success of the formation of these structures due to the mass transition to the service of Nazi police officers of the period of the Weimar Republic.

Abstract
Northern Ireland is a region which faced a wide range of problems during the XX century. Conducting neoconservative economic course in these conditions was extremely difficult. Margaret Thatcher’s Cabinet was able to adapt its economic program to the specific conditions of the region, having taken extraordinary steps. The characteristic feature of the economic policy of Great Britain in Northern Ireland was the process of devolution that was absolutely against the essence of the direct rule regime.

Abstract
This article examines the political course of the US President Bill Clinton's Administration in relation to the Russian Federation, its impact on the development of the economic and political situation in Russia. Particular attention is paid to the study of secret documents from the WikiLeaks site and the materials from the official sites of the USA state offices. The author focuses the main attention on the development and nature of the US-Russian cooperation when Clinton was in power. Besides, the formation of the US policy towards Russia was in the focus of attention too. The article explores the specifics of the US actions in the post-Soviet space in the context of the relationship between Moscow and Washington. Basing on the analysis of a number of official US documents and using the materials of the press, it is established that America exercised significant influence on the economic and political situation in the Russian Federation.

Abstract
The article deals with the period of 40-50-ies. The author analyzes the Moscow court as a social, spatial and ecological phenomenon from which a yard community of people arose. The author examines the Moscow yard from different angles: its functions in the city, human relationships, etc. The author analyzes the socialization function of postwar Moscow yard, which brought to life the phenomenon of the post-war yard community. Besides, the problems of the post-war yard are scrutinized in close connection with social processes of life.

Abstract
In the 1950s the scientific-technological revolution and closely related revolution in military affairs put forward many problems concerning the defence sphere in the Soviet Union. In the present article based on new and already known sources the analysis is presented which highlights the formation of approaches to the construction of the Armed Forces of the USSR in the years of Khrushchev's "thaw". The basic prerequisites for the military reform of 1953-1964 in the Soviet Union are given. Special attention is paid to the military-technical aspect of the reform. It is shown that the Soviet leadership promptly appreciated the value of qualitatively new phenomena both in the world and domestic science and technology, revealed their significance and prospects for the solution of foreign policy and defence objectives. The role of N.S. Khrushchev in the fundamental transformation of the Armed Forces of the USSR is stressed.

Abstract
The article considers the history of formation of the infrastructure of the volunteer movement and the forms of its development on the basis of educational institutions of secondary special and higher education with the aim of ensuring its spread in the territory of the Russian Federation. Ordering and selection of material based on the review of volunteer centers experience, which recruited and trained volunteers for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi. Besides, the experience of the Association of volunteer centers and volunteer centers for World Cup Football FIFA 2018 in Russia was studied™.

Abstract
The article analyzes the main directions of humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Moldova under present-day conditions: the peacekeeping operation in Transnistria, humanitarian assistance to Russian-speaking regions (Transnistria and Gagauzia) and interaction in culture, language, science and education. Bilateral humanitarian cooperation most fully reflects the specifics of the relationship between Russia and Moldova. The author considers there are positive steps recently taken in bilateral relations, but the parties still have a lot to do to achieve the necessary level.

Abstract
The paper studies the Islamic social and political sub-system as a potentially fruitful analytical unit which is functioning within the framework of national mega-system. The study shows this problem through the prism of structural approach to understanding both the Russian political system and the sub-systems it includes. The author proves that the "core" of the Islamic community forms in two cases: firstly, when the political issues multiply through the intensification of social and political communications; secondly, when at Muslim regional community there are enough religious and political intellectuals able to articulate these issues in the language of politics. The conclusion is drawn that for modern Russian policy the strategy of advance formulation of political agenda for the Russian Muslim community could be the most perspective.

Abstract
An integrated cluster analysis of the streaming space of the region aims to identify in the political process the actors with the highest communication capital, as well as the most significant elements of the streaming space. The article clarifies the definition of the concept “political space actors” who are formally not associated with the institutions of power and governance. Besides, the concept “streaming space” is clarified. The choice of the subjects of the Russian Federation for cluster analysis is explained.

Abstract
This article discusses the prerequisites and the possibilities of creating a unified theory of conflict in modern political science. The absence of a unified understanding of the conflict is considered to be the main obstacle to the creation of such theory. The main viewpoints on the conflict are given. Its place in the development of the human society and political system are also considered. The author's position on this issue is formulated. The main characteristics of the conflict, which can be used as the basis for a unified political theory of conflict, are described. The correlation between the concepts “conflict” and “competition” is discussed. A political conflict is considered as one of the main types of a conflict. The role of political conflicts in the development of transformational societies of the former Soviet Union is highlighted. Special attention is paid to the political conflict of 1993 in Russia, which is scrutinized in the perspective of the characteristics of the concept "conflict" proposed by the author.

Abstract
The analysis of factors influencing the formation of electoral behavior of young people as a special risk group is presented in the article. The authors consider the institutional design of policy, maturity of civil society, social and economic stability, and information influence to be the external factors. Besides, the characteristics and opinions of social environment acquired in the course of political socialization are among them. The internal factors of electoral behavior of youth correspond to the system of political values and orientations of a personality, as well as with the motives and purposes of political participation in social actions. The authors believe that the sum total of these factors form the steady core of the electoral choice of youth community.
