THE USE OF IMAGOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES IN A HISTORICAL RESEARCH, SHOWN ON THE EXAMPLE OF SWEDENS IMAGE STUDYING IN RUSSIAN SOCIAL THINKING IN 1ST QUARTER OF XVII - BEGINNING OF XIX CENTURIES

Abstract

The author reviews the concept of Motherland,
one of the main concepts in the outlook of the Russian society
of the first third of 19th century. The period described in the
article is connected with The Patriotic War of 1812, one of the
greatest shocks in the first third of 19th century. By that time
the concept of Motherland had gained the same meaning
we see in it now. The author states that love for Motherland
and patriotism were most evident in that period.
