OPENING ADDRESS

Abstract

In his opening address I.R. Vildanov, the Chairman of Moscow Region Election Committee, made special reference to the connection between the development of democratic statehood and the society’s attention to the electoral system in modern Russia. In I.R. Vildanov’s judgment, both federal and regional regulations adopted in recent years promote the process of exercising citizens’ right to vote.
