Bolsheviks 'Puppet' "Buffer" in Pribajkalje and the Proclamation of the Far Eastern Republic
Abstract
The article deals with the collision loaded and dramatically peaky process of
the establishing of the buffer state in the Russian Far East. The central Bolsheviks
governance is shown as the one, that didnt have any general concept of what
a buffer should be like. But most of the Pribaikalje Bolsheviks, as opposed to the
Primorje communists, disputed against all the deviations from the Soviet Russias
practices, even the decorative ones, supposing the buffer tactics to be just diplomatic
talks, instead of real political concessions. Only from the middle of 1920 the
buffer politics of Moscow had finally got a concrete outline.
