THE ORGANIZATION OF THE NOBILITY TRUSTEESHIP IN THE SECOND HALF OF 19TH-EARLY OF 20TH CENTURIES (ON THE EXAMPLE OF MOSCOW PROVINCE)
Abstract
The article explores the organization of the nobility
trusteeship in the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries.
The author studies the nobility trusteeship functioning
basing his research on the example of the nobility trusteeship
of Moscow Uyezd and other trusteeships of Moscow Province.
The main objective of this research is the description of
the nobility trusteeship problems. The author states that the
institution of nobility trusteeship was successfully functioning
up to 1917 in spite of numerous problems. There have already
been some researches made studying nobility trusteeships
of various provinces of Russia, but this very article is the
first research of Moscow Province nobility trusteeship.
