NINA ALEKSEEVNA KRIVOSHEINAS MEMORIES AS A HISTORICAL SOURCE

Abstract

The author mentions the pecularities of N.
Krivosheinas memoirs. The author considers this memoirs to
be one of the most important and authentichistorical sources
of information about the fate of the Russian emigrations first
wave to France.This first wave turned out to be the most
numerous one. Most of those who left Russia after the1917
Revolution prefer redto live in France, as there were very extensive
and deep culturalties dating back to the XVIII century
between the two countries. N.A. Krivosheina, being absolutely
literary gifted and having a raretalent for observation,
critical thinking, and being a true Russian, was able to create
one of the most remarkable monuments to the history of the
Russian emigration.
