Economic-social dystopia of «The Fable of the bees» by B. Mandeville's: the writing purposes, an ideological paradigm and genre features
Abstract
The article is devoted to English utopian thought development in the Early Enlightenment epoch (1689-1714). The analysis of the plot and stylistic peculiarities of «The Fable of the bees» by B. Mandeville written in the genre of dystopia and satire allows to discover political ideology character of the investigated author, to give a full insight of political, philosophical and economic thought development and to reconstruct socio-cultural atmosphere of aforesaid period.
