Alterglobalism: ideological and theory-methodological contours

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual
topic of theory-methodological analysis
of the movement of alterglobalism. The author
investigates the theory of the movement
of alterglobalism, the reasons and sources of
origin of this movement, the main groups and
their ideological visions, which compose the
movement of alterglobalism. The most important
factor is a process of neoliberal globalization
in XXI century, which forms new threats
of security, such as the spread of the weapon
of massive destruction, environmental contamination,
world economic crisis, growing
inequality between developed and developing
countries. Alterglobalism proposes new ways
and decisions to prevent such threats, that´s
why the investigation of the alternatives of
neoliberal model of development, seems an
important aspect in further elaboration of the
programmes to escape from the world financial
crisis.
