«Western» as a project of global unification of the world

Abstract

Interpreting «globalization» in
the terms of unification of the world by means
of a civilization, the author suggests some
critics concerning the universalisation of the
western values. The most fatal in the western
way of developing is a sort of sfumato-effect:
deficiency decompensates profit.
The features of functional brutality of turbocapitalism
are limits of consumption; disbalanced
essence of industrial progress, which
destroys the assimilation capacity of environment;
strengthening of social polarization, regional
differentiation; degradation of human
qualities.
