Domestic "diamond problem": historical aspect
Abstract
The subject of our research is the
study of domestic diamond problem, i.e. history
of exploration and discovery of diamond
deposits in our country, which has been out of
attention of historical science because of data
security. At the same time the discovery of
Yakutsky next Arkhangelsky diamondiferous
provinces and the establishment of domestic
diamond industry on their basis represent an
outstanding event in the history of Russia.
The diamond problem in our country is that
up to now there is no any authentic scientific
description of the history of Russian diamond
deposits prospecting and discovery
