Stolypins variant of the modernization of Russia, liberal model, cadets, opposition

Abstract

Abstract. The position of the main liberal Russian
party of the beginning of the XX century concerning
one of Stolypins programs of modernization of Russia
is stated in the article. On the materials of publication
of CDP - the newspaper Rech- it is proved, that
agitation-and-propaganda activity of the cadets
party consisted in criticism of the most vulnerable
aspects of Stolypins reforms and formation negative
public opinion towards them. It, in the opinion of the
author of the article, has played not last role in social
aversion of Stolypins variant of the modernization of
Russia.
