The Russian academic institution of squirearchy emigrants in Prague (1920-1930)

Abstract

The activity of two academic institutions of Russian agrarian emigrants of the first postrevolutionary wave in Prague is regarded in the article. The first academic institution, Russian Institution of Agricultural Cooperation, was found in Prague based on of cooperative and agricultural policy in the middle of 1921. The second institute, the Institute of scientific researchers of Russia, was founded in May 1924. Using the archival data, the author gives special attention to the activity of Russian Institution of Agricultural Cooperation and also considers the work of the Institute of scientific researchers of Russia.
