Specificity of U.S. Foreign policy analytical support by intelligence community in 1950s

Abstract

The article discusses some aspects of interaction
between the U.S. intelligence community with
policy-making community in the context of foreign policy
information and analytical support in 1950s. The activity
of US intelligence service during the presidential election
has been considered, with particular attention being
paid to the CIA informing President Eisenhowers
administration.
