В статье рассматриваются причины и результаты политики ликвидации так называемых «не- перспективных» сел и деревень в регионе Центральной России. Эта политика была обусловлена не только кур- сом КПСС на создание в сельской местности крупных индустриальных поселений, но и объективными обсто- ятельствами, а именно усиливающейся с конца 1950 гг. миграции из села и нехваткой трудовых ресурсов в колхо- зах и совхозах. Приводятся данные о резком уменьшении числа населенных пунктов, и показано, что ликвидация огромного мелких сельских поселений коренным обра- зом изменила образ жизни и установки значительной час- ти сельского населения. Усилилась миграция в города и обезлюдение сельской местности вместо восполнения ее трудовых ресурсов.
The article examines the reasons and results of the politics of unpromising villages and settlements liquidation in Central Russia Region. The politics was due to the CPSU course to create large industrial settlements in rural area of Russia. Besides, there were objective circumstances for it: the increase of rural population migration which started in late 1950s and scarcity of labour at collective and state farms. The article presents the data of collapse of the rural settlements. It is stated that the liquidation of a huge number of rural settlements resulted in cardinal changes in rural populations way of life and aspirations. Instead of making up of rural resources there was an increase in migration to towns and depopulation of rural area.
