Одним из популярных общественных движений России на рубеже XIX - XX вв. стало «толстовство», пропагандировавшее идеи мирного христианского анархизма. В своей общественно-политической деятельности толстовцы уделили большое внимание сотрудничеству с русским сектантством. В данной статье рассматривается проблема участия толстовцев в деле оказания помощи находящимся в бедственном положении русским духоборам, выделяются основные направления этой помощи и определяются ее результаты.
One of the most popular Russian social movements at the turn of XIX - XX centuries was “Tolstoyan Movement”, which promoted the ideas of peaceful Christian anarchism. In their social and political activity Tolstoyans paid great attention to cooperation with Russian sectarianism.
