В статье характеризуются торгово-экономические отношения между Германией и Непалом на рубеже XX-XXI вв. Цель двустороннего сотрудничества заключается в том, чтобы помочь Непалу достичь большей политической стабильности, преодолев последствия гражданской войны и сократив уровень бедности. Приоритетными направлениями являются энергетика, торгово-экономические отношения, гуманитарное сотрудничество. Особый вклад в развитие торгово-экономических отношений вносит Непалогерманская торгово-промышленная палата. Несмотря на сохраняющуюся политическую и социально-экономическую нестабильность, в Непале наблюдается экономический рост, постепенно формируется гражданское общество.
The author of the article examines the economic relations between Germany and Nepal at the turn of the 20th-21st centuries. The aim of the bilateral cooperation is to help Nepal gain greater political stability, overcome Civil war consequences and decrease the level of poverty. The priority directions of the cooperation between Germany and Nepal are: energetics, economic relations and humanitarian cooperation. NGCCI makes a significant contribution to the economic relations between the states. Despite the political and social, and economic instability in Nepal, one can notice the economic growth and gradual shaping of the civil society.
