В статье рассмотрен малоизученный в историографии вопрос - положение женщины в японском обществе на рубеже XIX - начала ХХ вв. Автором проведен анализ места и роли женщины в Японии в период переворота Мэйдзи и свержения сёгуната, сильно повлиявшего на дальнейшее развитие Японии, направленного на модернизацию всего японского общества и затронувшего все сферы жизнедеятельности как общества в целом, так и женщины, в частности. Основной акцент в данной статье сделан на те сферы деятельности, где роль и место женщины видны наиболее ярко, а именно - семья, экономика, искусство и религия.
The article studies an insufficiently known question of historiography - the position of women in the Japanese society at the turn of the XIX century and beginning of the XX century. The author performs an analysis of the position and role of women in Japan during the period of the revolution of Meiji and the overthrow of the shogunate, which strongly influenced the further development of Japan. The revolution was aimed at modernizing the entire Japanese society and affected both all the spheres of society functioning on the whole, and of women in particular. The main focus of this article is on the areas where the role and position of women can be seen most clearly, namely: family, economy, art and religion.
