В статье проводится анализ «мягкой силы» культурной дипломатии Ирана, которая способствует распространению национальных интересов ИРИ по всему миру. Эта составляющая внешнеполитической деятельности Ирана играет важную роль в деле продвижения образа этого государства в мире. Дается анализ эволюции «мягкой силы» Ирана - от позднего периода правления династии Пехлеви (1971-1979) до современной Исламской Республики. Рассматриваются различные инструменты ее реализации - через культуру, язык, туризм и диаспору. По мнению авторов, важность «мягкой силы» в вопросах иранской стратегии внешней политики будет расти и дальше.

The article provides the information on Iranian «soft power» that promotes IRI national interests worldwide. This component of the Iranian foreign policy plays an important role in the promotion of the state's image in the world. There is an analysis of the evolution of the «soft power» of Iran - from the late period of the Pahlavi dynasty (1971-1979) to modern Islamic Republic. Various tools for its implementation are considered - through culture, language, tourism and diaspora. According to the authors’ opinion, the importance of «soft power» issues in Iranian foreign policy strategies will be growing further.
