В статье приведены возможные варианты написания слова «Югославия» из англоязычной литературы и источников. Работа носит междисциплинарный характер и может использоваться как исследователями и специалистами по новейшей истории стран Европы и США, так и лингвистами, изучающими современный английский язык. Автор стремится проследить процесс становления, изменения и оформления норм правописания слова «Югославия» в английском языке, источниках и литературе.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The characteristic features of the spelling of the word “Yugoslavia” are identified and described, which will help the beginning researcher of Yugoslavian history to work with English sources and literature. The article presents possible spelling variants of the word “Yugoslavia” in the English literature and sources. The work is of interdisciplinary nature and can be used by both researchers and specialists in the modern history of European countries and the USA and by researchers of modern English.
