Цель. Изучить деятельность органов государственной власти и военного управления по предоставлению льгот, пособий и преимуществ военнослужащим Советских Вооружённых Сил и членам их семей в 1945–1964 гг. – проблему, длительное время остававшуюся за рамками научных исследований.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. На основе документов Российского государственного архива новейшей истории и Центрального архива Министерства обороны РФ раскрыты основные направления и формы реализации государственной политики в сфере социального обеспечения военнослужащих. В работе использовались принципы историзма и научной объективности, а также историко-генетический, проблемно-хронологический и сравнительно-исторический методы.

Результаты

Результаты. По итогам исследования сформулированы выводы о значимости данной работы в условиях послевоенного восстановления экономики и реорганизации Вооружённых Сил, ориентированной на поддержание высокого морального духа личного состава войск.

Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. В научный оборот введены архивные материалы, раскрывающие деятельность органов государственной власти и военного управления по развитию системы льгот и пособий военнослужащим. Полученные результаты будут полезны при совершенствовании современных подходов к социальной защите военнослужащих и членов их семей.

Aim

Aim. The presented article is dedicated to the study of the activities of state authorities and military administration in providing benefits, allowances, and privileges to servicemen of the Soviet Armed Forces and their family members in 1945–1964 – a topic that has remained outside the scope of academic research.

Methodology

Methodology. Based on documents from the Russian State Archive of Contemporary History and the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the main directions and forms of this work have been revealed. Historical analysis has allowed for the identification of the ways in which it was organized and improved, as well as the accumulated positive and negative practical experience.

Results

Results. Following the research, conclusions have been formulated regarding the significance of this work in the context of post-war economic recovery and the reorganization of the Armed Forces, aimed at maintaining the high morale of the troops.

Research implications

Research implications. The formulated conclusions can be useful for the practical activities of state authorities and military administration in enhancing the effectiveness of the social security system for servicemen and their families in contemporary conditions.
