Цель. Анализ советских идеологических оценок, нормативных подходов и региональных практик в отношении проституции и советского государственного механизма её контроля в первой половине 1920-х гг.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. Исследование основано на корпусе трудов отечественных историков, а также на материалах региональных архивов. Постановка проблемы обусловила обращение к историко-системному и логическому методам исторического исследования.

Результаты

Результаты. В результате исследования установлено, что в 1920-х гг. начал формироваться механизм советского контроля проституции. Выявлено, что в первой половине 1920-х гг. коммерциализация половых отношений на территории Смоленской губернии привела к серьёзным морально-демографическим последствиям.1

Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Изучение явления проституции позволит выявить её социальные риски, усовершенствовать стратегию социальной политики в этой сфере, основа которой начала закладываться в первой половине 1920-х гг.

Aim

Aim. Analysis of Soviet ideological assessments, regulatory approaches, and regional practices regarding prostitution and the Soviet state mechanism for controlling it in the first half of the 1920s.

Methodology

Methodology. The study is based on the works of Russian historians, as well as on materials from regional archives. The formulation of the problem led to the use of historical, systemic, and logical methods of historical research.

Results

Results. The study found that in the 1920s, a mechanism for Soviet control of prostitution began to form. It revealed that in the first half of the 1920s, the commercialization of sexual relations in the Smolensk province led to serious moral and demographic consequences.

Research implications

Research implications. Studying the phenomenon of prostitution will allow us to identify its social risks and improve the social policy strategy in this area, which began to be developed in the first half of the 1920s.
