Цель. Оценка влияния Франции в бывших колониях на африканском континенте в контексте глобализации и радикальных изменений мирового порядка.Процедура и методы. В ходе исследования были применены различные научные методы: анализа и синтеза, дедукции, диалектический метод.Результаты. Сделан вывод, что для сохранения и укрепления своих позиций в Африке Франции предстоит радикальным образом пересмотреть стиль и методы сотрудничества со странами этого континента.Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Исследование политики Франции в регионе, традиционно считавшемся её вотчиной, способствует выработке оптимальных критериев и подходов к сотрудничеству с учётом изменившейся глобальной обстановки

Aim. To analyze the influence of France in its former colonies on the African continent in the context of globalization and radical changes in the world order.Methodology. In the course of the study, the following scientific methods were applied: analysis and synthesis, deduction, and dialectic method.Results. The author comes to the conclusion that in order to maintain and strengthen its position in Africa, France will have to radically revise the style and methods of cooperation with the countries of this continent.Research implications. Studying the policy and miscalculations of France in the region traditionally considered as its patrimony contributes to the development of optimal criteria and approaches to cooperation, taking in consideration the changed global situation
