Цель. Сформулировать концепцию идеала правителя государства в «Шахнаме».Процедура и методы. Для более детального изучения концепции идеала правителя государства в «Шахнаме» был выбран миф о царе Джемшиде. Методологической основой исследования послужила политическая текстология, что подразумевает использование общенаучных и различных исторических, философских методов и приёмов.Результаты. По итогам исследования сделан вывод о неразрывной взаимосвязи природы идеального и материального в «Шахнаме», что указывает также на решающее влияние моральных категорий на судьбу государства и на политику в целом.Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Сегодня политико-дипломатические отношения между Ираном и Россией стремительно развиваются, и исследования социально-политических идей, изложенных в «Шахнаме», могут способствовать поддержанию и укреплению культурного диалога между государствами.

Aim. To define the concept of the perfect ruler of the state in the "Shahnameh".Methodology. For a more detailed study of the concept of the perfect ruler in the "Shahnameh", the myth of King Jamshid was chosen. The methodological basis of the research was political textual study, which implies the usage of general scientific and historical and philosophical methods and techniques.Results. The results of the study show inextricable relationship between the nature of the ideal and the material in the "Shahnameh", which also indicates the decisive influence of moral categories on the fate of the state and politics as a whole.Research implications. At the present day, the political and diplomatic relations between Iran and Russia are developing rapidly, so the research of social and political ideas set out in the "Shahnameh" can contribute to the maintenance and strengthening of cultural dialogue between the states
