Выявить применяемые методы и стратегии Китая и США в Южно-Китайском море на современном этапе.</p></sec><sec><title>Процедура и методы</title><p>Процедура и методы. Основное содержание исследования составляет анализ текстов зарубежных исследователей, посвящённых внешнеполитическому курсу Китая и стратегиям заинтересованных в делах региона стран.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Проведённый анализ показал, что действия США и Китая в Индо-Тихоокеанском регионе представляют собой операции в рамках гибридной войны как современной формы международного конфликта. Южно-Китайское море становится всё более важным объектом в силу своей экономической, военной, ресурсной и стратегической значимости. Контроль над ним – приоритетная задача для КНР и США как сильнейших игроков на мировой арене.</p><p>Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Обобщён новый материал по исследуемой теме. Деятельность ключевых игроков региона рассмотрена через призму концепции гибридной войны.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To reveal the applied methods and strategies of China and the United States in the South China Sea at the present stage.</p></sec><sec><title>Methodology</title><p>Methodology. The main content of the study is the analysis of texts of foreign researchers. These materials are devoted to China’s foreign policy course and strategies of the states which are interested in the affairs of the region.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The analysis showed that the actions of the United States and China in the Indo-Pacific region are operations within the framework of a hybrid war as a modern form of international conflict. The South China Sea is becoming an increasingly important object due to its economic, military, resource and strategic importance. Taking control of it is a priority task for China and the United States as the strongest rivals on the world stage.</p></sec><sec><title>Research implications</title><p>Research implications. The new material on the topic under study has been summarized.
