Цель. Восстановление полной хронологии открытия и освоения Испанской Флориды в XVI веке (1513–1516 гг.).

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. В работе использованы архивные документы, карты и научные исследования, доступные на 2022 г. Методологической основой стали принципы историзма, объективности и системности.

Результаты

Результаты. Представлена хронология экспедиций по открытию и освоению Флориды c 1513 по 1516 гг., а также их взаимосвязь с событиями в Испанских королевствах и Европе.

Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Впервые в российской исторической науке подробно представлена хронология событий и причинно-следственные связи, касающиеся открытия, освоения и христианизации Флориды в XVI в. Результаты работы могут быть использованы при организации спецкурса по открытию и освоению большой территории североамериканского континента, названного «Испанской Флоридой».

Aim

Aim. To continue the chronology of the discovery and development of Spanish Florida in the XVI century. Expeditions from 1513 to 1516 were considered.

Methodology

Methodology. The work uses archival documents, maps and scientific research available for 2022. The research is based on the principles of historicism, objectivity and consistency.

Results

Results. A chronology of expeditions discovering and developing Florida from 1513 to 1516 is presented, as well as their connection with events in the Spanish kingdoms and Europe.

Research implications

Research implications. For the first time in Russian historical science, the chronology of events and causal relations regarding the discovery, development and Christianization of Florida in the 16th century are presented in detail. The results of the work can be used in organizing a special course for the discovery and development of a large area of the North American continent, called "Spanish Florida".
