Цель. Выявить, как отразились в письмах Ф. И. Тютчева идеи мессианского назначения России, как и под влиянием каких факторов формировались взгляды поэта на внешнюю политику, какова ценность выводов поэта в контексте современных событий.Процедура и методы. Исследование построено на использовании методов, связанных с изучением источников личного происхождения. В ходе анализа писем Ф. И. Тютчева выявлены рассуждения поэта, касающиеся внешней политики России. Использование биографического метода позволило лучше понять мотивацию и систему взглядов поэта. Акцент был сделан и на историческом контексте и генезисе взглядов Тютчева.Результаты. Установлено, что мессианские воззрения Ф. И. Тютчева нашли своё выражение в его письмах. Сделан вывод, что взгляды поэта на политику России были сформированы в процессе осмысления им опыта дипломатической службы, а также событий и тенденций развития стран Запада. Также показано, что замечания Ф. И. Тютчева и отражают распространённые в то время взгляды о России, Европе и славянах, и характеризуют его как самобытного мыслителя.Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Актуализирована проблематика особого назначения России, раскрыты мировоззренческое значение и прогностический потенциал воззрений Тютчева, выраженные в его письмах, в применении к актуальной геополитической ситуации и определению перспектив внешней политики России
Aim. To reveal how Russian messianic ideas were reflected in Fyodor Tyutchev’s letters, how and what influenced the formation of the poet’s views on foreign policy, and the actual value of his con clusions in the context of current state of affairs.Methodology. The research is based on the use of methods connected with the study of sources of personal origin. In the course of the analysis of F. I. Tyutchev’s letters, the poet’s arguments concern ing Russia’s foreign policy were revealed. The use of the biographical method made it possible to better understand the motivation and the poet’s system of views. The emphasis was also placed on the historical context and the genesis of Tyutchev’s viewsResults. It is stated that Russian messianic ideas were widely represented in Fyodor Tyutchev’s letters. It is concluded that the poet’s views on Russian policy were formed in the process of his diplomatic experience evaluation, as well as the events and trends in the development of Western countries. It is also demonstrated that Tyutchev’s remarks reflect the quite common at that time views on Russia, Europe and the Slavs, and characterize him as an original thinker.Research implications. The article actualized the problems of Russia’s special purpose, and revealed the ideological significance and prognostic potential of Tyutchev’s views expressed in his letters, as applied to the current geopolitical situation and the definition of prospects for Russia’s foreign policy.
