В статье на основе изучения архивных источников показано материальное положение иностранных рабочих и специалистов, находившихся в г. Воронеже в период первой пятилетки. Показаны причины, побудившие иностранцев приехать в СССР, и мотивы советского руководства, привлекавшего к работе зарубежных специалистов. Воссозданы условия жизни иностранных граждан, привлеченных к строительству воронежских предприятий. Отображены идеологические мероприятия местной администрации, направленные на формирование у иностранцев позитивного впечатления о Советском Союзе.
In this paper the material standing of foreign workers and specialists who were in Voronezh in the period of the first five-year plan is described based on the studies of archives. The article also shows the reasons which induced foreigners to come to USSR and the motives of soviet administration to recruit foreign specialists. The living conditions of foreign citizens engaged in building of Voronezh enterprises are recreated. Ideological undertakings of the local administration, aimed at forming of a positive impression about the Soviet Union are also reflect.
