This article is devoted to the analysis of political processes taking place in ex-Soviet (neighboring foreign countries) on national safety of Russia. The authors pay special attention to the west countries (and mainly the USA) efforts to change the direction of development for their benefit. The article also examines some counter steps taken by the Russian Federation authorities to neutralize this threat as well as gives some practical advice aimed at realization of national safety interests of Russia.
