basic social parties of Russia - Socialist-Revolutionaries and Socialist - Democrats
(Mensheviks) at the end of the Russian Civil war. During the period in a separate
region of the country - in the Far East - in connection with the idea to build an
externally independent from red Moscow buffer state the median grouping
seemed to have acquired a perspective to fulfil their political programs. However,
the doctrinaire character of the logical and externally inviting intelligent-like
projects, the isolation of democratic ideologies from the militant political realia
of the country and the mentality of its population, the helplessness of the Socialist-
Revolutionaries and Mensheviks in the political and organization spheres once
again brought the idea of democracy in Russia to the naturally determined regrettable
results. There wasnt a real alternative to the dictatorship in Russia.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Дальневосточная республика</kwd><kwd>социалисты-революционеры</kwd><kwd>социал-демократы</kwd><kwd>демократия</kwd><kwd>идея народовластия</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Дальневосточная политика Советской России (1920-1922 гг.).
