Статья посвящена малоисследован- ному периоду государственной деятельности А.В. Луначарского в 1929-1933 гг. В этот период он зани- мал должность председателя Ученого Комитета при Центральном Исполнительном Комитете СССР. С одной стороны, новая должность бывшего Наркома просвещения имела меньшее политическое значе- ние, с другой стороны, новый председатель сыграл большую роль в работе Ученого Комитета. Автор раскрывает отношение А.В. Луначарского к ученым и международным научным связям, оценивает его вклад в расширение компетенции Ученого Комитета
The article is devoted to a little investigated period of A.V. Lunacharskiys state activity between 1929 and 1933. During this period he held a post of the chairman of the Scientific Committee under the Central Executive Committee of the USSR. On the one hand, the new post of the former Peoples Commissar of Education had smaller political value, on the other hand - the new chairman played a big role in the work of the Scientific Committee. The author reveals A.V. Lunacharskiys attitude to scientists and international scientific relations, estimating his contribution to the Scientific Committee competent expansion.
