Статья посвящена рассмотрению внешнеполитических взглядов представителей американского неоконсерватизма, чьи взгляды в значительной степени определяли внешнеполити- ческий курс США на протяжении 1990-х - 2000-х гг. В частности, анализируется реализация идеологи- ческих установок американских неоконсерваторов во внешнеполитическом курсе США в период пре- зидентства Д.У. Буша. В статье освещается критика основных идейных установок и положений неокон- серваторов со стороны одного из наиболее извес- тных представителя американского «палеоконсер- ватизма» - П.Дж. Бьюкенена. Приводятся этапы политической биографии П.Бьюкенена.

The article considers the foreign policy views of the representatives of the American neo-conservatism, whose views largely determined U.S. foreign policy during the 1990s - 2000s. In particular, it analyzes the reflection of ideological attitudes of American neoconservatives in the U.S. foreign policy during the presidency of George W. Bush. The article also highlights the ideological criticism of these provisions by one of the most prominent representative of American paleoconservatism - P. Buchanan presenting the stages of his political biography.
